For the first time in a CDC, and to experiment with a new mode of dissemination that seeks to address overlap concerns among CDC and journal papers, the 64th CDC will organize a limited number of sessions where authors will have an opportunity to present their recently published papers in IEEE CSS journals. Specifically:
- Only papers accepted between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025 by the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control (TAC), the IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems (TCNS), and the IEEE Open Journal of Control Systems (OJ-CSYS) are eligible to be presented. The other CSS journal publications have already established avenues to present the work at a conference.
- Papers that satisfy the criteria above but have a closely related paper (e.g., an earlier or preliminary version) published or accepted in a conference are not eligible for presentation.
- The CDC submission site (Paperplaza) will accept submissions until June 5, 2025. Authors will need to submit title, authors, up to 2-page extended abstract, the accepted manuscript, and the letter of acceptance.
- The CDC Program Committee (PC) will evaluate the submissions and will make accept/reject decisions based on space in the program, quality of the manuscript, and the topic addressed. Authors will be notified together with the regular contributed or invited CDC submissions (in July 2025).
- Authors of papers accepted for presentation will have to submit title, authors, abstract in plain text, and up to 2-page extended abstract. Only the title, the authors, and abstract in plain text will appear at the CDC program and no publication will be posted in IEEE Xplore.
